Job summary

Merck is seeking a Regional Sales Director (DCO) for the West US Immunology Sales organization. This field-based leader will manage District Managers and field reps, drive customer engagement, and own P&L for the region.

Travel up to 50% is required to support strategic initiatives and launches. The candidate will develop regional strategic plans, partner cross-functionally, and ensure compliant, high-quality communications with payers and providers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field with 10+ years in pharma sales/managed care.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience building regional strategic plans and omnichannel initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional team to execute customer engagement strategies.
• Own the customer portfolio and experience across the region.
• Build relationships with senior leaders to support strategic engagement.
• Align plans with payer and access considerations to optimize reimbursement.
• Deliver regional P&L targets and communicate a customer-centric vision.
