Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an Agency Executive (Regional Distribution Manager) for the West Region to grow broker partnerships and drive profitable Middle Market and Mid-Sized Construction business.

You will join the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) team and act as the brand face to key regional brokers, coordinating with underwriting and regional leadership to expand the renewal book, win new business, and deliver outstanding broker service.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent usually obtained with 5+ years of insurance and underwriting experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external partners and foster effective working relationships.
• Solid understanding of P&C and Specialty insurance products with proven business development/sales skills.
• Must work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture high-value relationships with regional brokers and agencies to fuel growth.
• Be the voice of GRS in the marketplace, communicating underwriting appetite and strategy to agents.
• Partner with leaders to craft growth plans for new business, rate and retention.
• Lead cross-sell initiatives across GRS segments.
• Co-create strategic business plans with agents and regional leadership.
• Drive opportunities, market penetration, and both retention and new business.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure smooth communication and inform leadership of wins.
• Foster a collaborative, service-first culture with brokers and clients.
