Job summary

American Water is seeking an experienced Utility Superintendent to oversee West Lafayette operations, including production, distribution, and customer service. The role requires coordinating with field teams and partners to maintain safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operational discipline, management, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years managing operational areas and meeting performance targets.
• Distribution System Large (DSL) and/or WT3 licenses preferred; Automatic Shut-Off (ASO) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day water operations and support field teams.
• Manage production, distribution, and customer service within the service territory.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners and regulatory entities as needed.
• Lead implementation of standards, targets, and plans to drive efficiency and safety.
