Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years supervisory experience in water works or related field.
• 4 years experience in distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control local construction, operations, and maintenance activity within approved budget limits.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with political, civic, and other key stakeholders in the service area, and serve as the operations interface with regulatory agencies, representing company positions in proceedings and hearings.
• Ensure local water operations meet required standards and remain in compliance with regulatory targets.
• Implement standards, targets, policies, and plans that improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and cost performance.
• Maintain operational integrity across quality, environmental performance, reliability, health, safety, and security.
• Develop and direct cost-effective solutions that meet customer expectations and technical requirements, and promote best practice and innovation across all operational areas.
• Contribute to effective communication by listening and providing constructive feedback; supporting the creation of an open and honest work environment; cascading and sharing knowledge and information relevant to other members of the team and colleagues across the business
• Implement and foster the coaching and development of employees, including idea generation, within respective functional areas
