Merck is seeking a Regional Sales Director (DCO) to lead the West Region in its Immunology Sales organization. This field-based leadership role oversees District Managers and field reps, driving strategy, customer engagement, and performance across the region.

Candidates should have a BA/BS with 10+ years in pharma sales/marketing, plus 3+ years of people management and proven regional planning. Travel up to 50% is required, with strong cross-functional collaboration and a focus on payer

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and at least 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or managed care within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience building and managing customer relationships.
• Resident of the region with the ability to travel up to 50%.
• Demonstrated ability to develop regional strategic business plans and implement omnichannel strategies.

Responsabilités

• Lead, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing regional team to execute approved customer engagement strategies.
• Own the customer portfolio and overall customer experience across team touchpoints.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior leaders to support strategic engagement.
• Align account plans with payer and managed-care considerations to optimize access and reimbursement.
• Deliver regional business results and meet defined P&L targets.
