Job summary

Merck is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the West Region in the US Immunology Sales organization. This field-based role leads District Managers and field reps, owning performance, development, and P&L for the region.

Travel up to 50% is required, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning, payer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive launches and growth in immunology, including IBD within Gastroenterology.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required with at least 10 years in sales/market access within pharma.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
• Strong ability to develop regional strategic business plans and launch/growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team to execute customer engagement strategies and achieve business objectives.
• Own the customer portfolio and ensure trusted communications across touchpoints.
• Deliver regional results and meet P&L targets while aligning with national strategy.
