Job summary

Williams Comfort Products is seeking a Sales Engineer (West) to deliver technical and mechanical sales support across the Western United States. The role focuses on obtaining vital technical and project specifications, preparing proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining strong relationships with sales reps, engineering teams, and customers.

Travel to customer sites is continuous. Ideal candidates will have HVAC industry experience, an engineering degree or equivalent HVAC

Qualifications

• HVAC industry experience is required, ideally in sales or manufacturer representation.
• Engineering degree required, or equivalent technical HVAC training with demonstrated expertise.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and web-hosted applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead interface with customers and sales reps to obtain vital technical, project and product specifications.
• Develop and prepare technical proposals addressing product solution specifications.
• Prepare and submit cost summaries with the proper specifications and applications to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives, engineers, mechanical contractors and customers.
• Maintain documentation regarding price quotations, decisions, progress and result of activities.
• Respond to customers’ inquiries with cost-effective solutions to meet project specifications.
