Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. on the West Coast is seeking a Communications Manager to partner with the Head of Communications and build a systematic media engine across tech, AI, and business beats. You will manage daily comms priorities and help shape announcements, media moments, and events end-to-end.

The role requires 5–7 years in tech/AI communications, exceptional writing, and strong interpersonal skills, with an in-office work model in Sunnyvale, CA and a focus on the SF media landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related or adjacent field.
• 5-7 years of tech/AI or corporate communications experience.
• Strong understanding of the tech/AI, startup, and SF media landscape.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent writing and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of communications priorities alongside Head of Communications.
• Build and maintain comms calendars, trackers, and agendas for announcements, media moments, and events.
• Coordinate internal workflows across announcements, media opportunities, speaking engagements, and events with Product, Marketing, and Executives.
• Develop relationships with tech reporters, AI beat reporters, writers, podcast hosts, and other voices shaping AI/tech conversations.
• Draft pitches, media briefs, talking points, and prep documents for spokespeople.
• Coordinate interviews, briefings, podcast appearances, and speaking opportunities; manage logistics and prep with reporters and stakeholders.
