Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Regional Business Operations Leader to join the Region Leadership Team. The role oversees delivery of projects, drives P&L performance, and supports EBITDA, DSO, utilization, and backlog across Southeast and West Coast regions.

The ideal candidate will guide PMs, coordinate with regional finance, and lead process improvements to enhance project performance and client satisfaction while promoting inclusion and diversity initiatives. Travel across the USA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/Engineering fields.
• 15+ years of relevant post-education experience.
• Active member of local/national professional practice organizations.
• Demonstrates excellence in technical performance and oversight.
• Ability to foster teamwork and supervise professional deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support Regional Management with consultation and reporting on project/cost center performance.
• Assist in budget assessment and financial planning with Region Leadership.
• Collaborate with business lines on operational aspects and project delivery.
• Monitor high-risk projects and assist in plan development for margin preservation.
• Coordinate with Region Finance Manager to improve cash flow and data exchange.
• Oversee Project Delivery Managers to ensure project reviews are conducted and risks identified.
• Support development of annual budget and forecasting processes.
• Travel to Region offices as necessary to fulfill duties.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

15+ years of relevant post-education experience
