Job summary

Teledyne Relays, a Teledyne Defense Electronics unit, is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA region. You will lead sales efforts with manufacturers’ reps and regional distributors, cultivate OEM opportunities, and drive design wins with field engineers across aerospace and defense markets.

The role requires a strong technical background, 5–10 years of relevant experience, travel around 50%, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–10 years in a technical field with manufacturers’ reps & distribution in Aerospace & Defense.
• Experience with electronic components is required.
• Proven ability to prepare quarterly regional presentations and track KPIs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and achieve a sales budget including bookings and billings.
• Manage a group of manufacturer’s reps and regional distributors; participate in reviews.
• Develop OEM target lists and drive new business opportunities.
• Direct field applications team to achieve design wins and regularly meet customers.
• Submit monthly Sales Activity Reports to management.
