Job summary

Teledyne Relays, a Teledyne Defense Electronics unit, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA. The role requires managing reps and distribution networks, creating OEM target lists and driving design wins across aerospace and defense markets.

You will travel approximately 50% and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sales budgets and quarterly targets, while leveraging your technical background in electronics and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field; 5–10 years in technical sales with reps & distributors.
• Experience with electronic components in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Travel required = 50%.

Responsibilities

• Create and achieve a sales budget, including bookings, billings and POS.
• Manage a group of manufacturer’s representatives and regional distribution networks; participate in quarterly reviews.
• Create an OEM business development target customer list.
• Directs field applications team to achieve design wins.
• Regularly meet with current and potential customers.
• Submit monthly Sales Activity Reports to management.
• Update designs wins within a sales funnel using CRM tools.
• Participate in new product definition and report market trends.
