Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in municipal water/wastewater sales or technical sales.
• Experience managing manufacturer's representative firms.
• Understanding of project lifecycle: specification, bidding, procurement.
• Ability to influence specifications and communicate product applications.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute regional sales strategy to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Coach and develop a network of manufacturer's reps; set expectations.
• Influence specifications with consulting engineers and municipalities.
• Lead product presentations and technical training for engineers and reps.
• Collaborate with inside sales on competitive quotations and pricing.
• Maintain forecasts and opportunity management in CRM.
• Build relationships with engineers, utilities, contractors, and distributors.
