Job summary

Entarian seeks a West Coast Fish Passage and Hydropower Specialist to support NOAA habitat conservation programs, restoration planning, and data management in the West Coast region, with focus on fish passage and hydropower projects.

The role involves coordination with multiple stakeholders, compliance documentation under NEPA and Section 106, and outreach materials; some travel to partners throughout the West Coast may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in water/resources/natural resources or related field.
• 4+ years of specialized professional field experience.
• 3–5 years experience with hydropower or regulatory processes on West Coast.
• Knowledge of fish behavior and passage principles.

Responsibilities

• Support fish passage and habitat restoration planning and implementation.
• Coordinate with NOAA staff, partners and stakeholders for project development and reporting.
• Assist in solicitation, review and tracking of restoration projects and deliverables.
• Develop environmental compliance documentation and permits.
