Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Fisheries (Passage) Engineer to support water resources and hydropower projects from Bellevue, WA or Portland, OR, with a hybrid work option. You will lead technical execution of fish screening and passage at intakes, dams, and hydropower facilities, guiding teams and ensuring delivery with quality and budget discipline.

You will develop market positioning, contribute to proposals, and build strong client relationships while advancing regional growth in the Pacific

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, design and construction of fish passage and screening facilities for dams, intakes, hydro facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of fish passage/transport and screening systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Technical Resource or Engineer of Record for fish passage projects.
• Provide SME leadership for fisheries infrastructure in water resources.
• Plan, organize, and manage production of deliverables within time and budget.
• Act as primary technical contact with clients and agencies; mentor junior staff.
