Job summary

PPG is seeking a Regional Environmental Manager for the West Coast to oversee environmental compliance across aerospace and traffic solutions sites. The role focuses on federal, state, and local regulations, permits, and corporate standards with a strong emphasis on regulatory reporting and inspections.

Based in the Western region (CA/OR/WA preferred, LA area especially). This position reports to the Manager of Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Affairs and requires up to 35% travel within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with environmental regulatory compliance including air, water and waste.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and PPG standards.
• Assess site compliance performance and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare for government inspections and manage agency correspondence.
• Maintain environmental management systems and complete required activities.
• Prepare environmental reports and manage audit findings.
• Develop and deploy environmental procedures and training.
