Job summary

PPG is seeking a Regional Environmental Manager for West Coast plants. You will focus on environmental regulations and compliance for Aerospace and Traffic Solutions units, supporting sites in CA/OR/WA with preference for Greater Los Angeles. You’ll report to the Manager of Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.

Role includes driving regulatory programs, audits, and continuous improvement, with travel up to 35% and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related science.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with environmental regulatory compliance (air, water, waste).
• Familiarity with CAA Title V, MACT, CWA SPCC & TRI reporting; RCRA knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate with management and staff at all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and PPG standards.
• Assess site compliance performance and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare for inspections and manage agency communications.
• Maintain environmental systems and supervise environmental activities.
• Oversee environmental reporting and audit findings resolution.
• Develop and deploy environmental procedures, tools, and training.
• Provide mentorship to site environmental personnel and leaders.
