Intertek USA seeks an Environmental Regional Manager to lead environmental teams in Oakland and satellite groups in Los Angeles and Portland. You will report to the Oakland RVP and may relocate. Your focus is to set KPIs, improve operations, and grow gross revenue while managing labor and margins.

Role involves overseeing projects, mentoring staff, driving business development, and collaborating with clients across time zones. Travel 25% expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related science field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
• 5+ years in a people management role overseeing 5–10+ staff.
• Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams across multiple locations.
• Proven office group management experience with P&L growth.
• Strong business development skills to cultivate client relationships and drive revenue.
• Ability to travel 25% and work across multiple time zones.
• High integrity with collaborative leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record.
• Preferred professional registrations (P.G., P.E., CIH).

Responsabilités

• Review and approve staff timesheets.
• Review and approve department expenses and accounts payable.
• Interview, hire, and onboard staff.
• Review monthly profit and loss statements.
• Ensure OU compliance with Quality programs and Core Management Controls (CMCs).
• Mentor and train staff.
• Direct management of projects and contracts.
• Communicate with clients to discuss satisfaction and identify opportunities.
• Review project invoicing for accuracy.
• Ensure follow up with clients on outstanding accounts receivable.
• Develop and implement sales and growth plans.
• Strategize approaches to capture opportunities and leads.
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
• Ensure prompt team follow up on submitted proposals.
