Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking an Environmental Regional Manager to lead our environmental teams in Oakland, CA, with satellite teams in Los Angeles and Portland. This role reports to the Oakland office and relocation assistance may be available.

You will drive KPIs, manage budgets, mentor staff, and develop business opportunities while traveling up to 25% of the time. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in environmental consulting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting
• 5+ years in a people management role overseeing teams
• Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams across multiple locations
• Proven P&L growth and leadership in a service organization
• Strong business development skills with revenue growth experience
• Willingness to travel 25%+ and coordinate across time zones

Responsibilities

• Review and approve staff timesheets and department expenses
• Interview, hire, and onboard staff; manage projects and contracts
• Monitor OU compliance with Quality programs and CMCS; mentor staff
• Develop sales and growth plans; prepare cost estimates and proposals
• Communicate with clients to discuss satisfaction and identify opportunities
• Travel up to 25% to support project delivery and client relations
