Job summary

Precision Castparts seeks an Environmental Specialist to manage multi‑media environmental compliance in a regulated aerospace manufacturing setting in California. You will own air, waste, stormwater, and wastewater programs, coordinating with operations and engineering to ensure full compliance and minimize risk.

The role emphasizes California requirements, regulatory reporting, and leading inspections with agencies such as SCAQMD, DTSC, CUPA, and Water Boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments.
• Direct experience with California environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, DTSC, SCAQMD, CUPA, LACSD).

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental compliance programs across air, hazardous waste, stormwater, and wastewater.
• Lead regulatory reporting, inspections, and audits.
• Develop and deliver environmental training and cross‑functional support.
