Job summary

MATTR Biowellness Club is hiring a Wellness Technician to warmly greet clients, conduct tours, and guide memberships. You will handle bookings, consultations, and product recommendations while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.

Responsibilities include educating clients on health modalities, supporting the EMR system, and keeping treatment areas clean and organized. Evening and weekend availability is required as the shop operates seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Experience in health, wellness, fitness, beauty, or related field is preferred.
• Evening/weekend flexibility as store is open 7 days/week.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and assisting them with modalities.
• Giving facility tours and client consultations with prospective members.
• Selling memberships and packages that are appropriate to the client's needs.
• Booking, confirming, rescheduling and canceling appointments via the EMR system.
• Opening and closing the store according to in-store procedures.
• Educating clients on modalities and health benefits.
• Maintaining equipment and treatment areas.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service and client support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients and assisting them with our modalities.
• Giving facility tours and client consultations with prospective members.
• Selling memberships and packages that are appropriate to the client's needs.
• Booking, confirming, rescheduling and canceling appointments via the electronic medical record system
• Opening and closing the store in accordance with our in-store operational procedures.
• Educating and empowering clients on our modalities, including the overall health benefits, complementary services to recommend, etc.
• Cleaning and maintaining all equipment and treatment areas.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and client support skills.
• Be a representative of the MATTR brand, embodying our core values and mission statement.

Requirements:

• Applicant must be a team player
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Always represent the organization positively and professionally inside and outside of work.
• Experience in health, wellness, fitness, beauty, or other related field (minimum of one year).
• Customer service experience (minimum of one year) is required.
• Experience or familiarity with sales (selling memberships, packages, etc.) whether it be in a clinic, gym, spa, or related setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicant must have evening/weekend flexibility, as we are a retail establishment open 7 days/week.
• Ability to determine the appropriate course of action in more complex situations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and prioritize accordingly
• Ability to adapt and handle difficult situations involving clients, colleagues, physicians, or others in a professional manner.
