Job summary

Palm Bay Memory Care is seeking a Scheduler for the Wellness Department to organize and maintain staffing levels, coordinating with internal staff and temporary agencies to fill vacancies and schedule time off. You will help ensure adequate coverage for each shift and support payroll accuracy.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and state-required medication aide certificates, with 1–3 years in senior retirement community management and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• State-required medication aide certificates/tests mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Report vacancies in wellness department to head or supervisor.
• Verify associate work hours and requested time.
• Report scheduling concerns and payroll-related issues.
• Coordinate with executive directors to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Assist in orientation of new associates.
• Explain shift requirements and hours to new associates.
• Train new associates on time clock system.
• Provide tours of the community to new hires.
• Perform basic scheduling and HR-related administrative tasks.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new hires.
