Atria Senior Living, Inc. invites applications for a Wellness Assistant at its Coterie brand location. The role focuses on providing daily living assistance, abiding by state regulations, offering encouragement to residents, and coordinating with the Wellness Director.

Training and vaccination requirements are highlighted as part of the onboarding process. Candidates should be capable of multitasking across tasks, presenting information clearly, and adapting to varying schedules to meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must complete Atria Medication Training if providing medication reminders.
• Must complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living assistance to residents as directed from each Resident’s Service Plan.
• Provide assistance according to state regulations.
• Provide verbal encouragement and support to residents.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change.
• Communicate to the Wellness Director when a resident’s need has changed.
• Communicate to other departments as residents’ needs arise during the shift.
• May drive company vehicle from community to social and other destinations (only if required).
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
