Job summary

Coterie Senior Living - Hudson Yards is seeking a Wellness Assistant to provide personal care and related services as directed by the Wellness Director. You will support residents with activities of daily living and communicate changes in needs to the care team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of required training, and the ability to follow state regulations while maintaining a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience may help.
• Must complete Atria Medication Training if providing medication reminders or assistance.
• Must complete all Atria training programs.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living assistance as directed by the Resident’s Service Plan.
• Assist residents according to state regulations.
• Offer verbal encouragement and support to residents.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum service as needs change.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to Wellness Director.
