Bickford Senior Living in Peoria, IL is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and administer daily medications with compassion and dignity. You will work in the branch, follow physician orders, and ensure the Six Rights of medication administration are observed.

The role requires an active LPN or RN license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care.
• Supervise resident care work of non-licensed team members on shift.
