Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their healthcare needs change.
• Maintain consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; this may involve assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents’ needs and staffing requirements.
• Assist in supervising community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manage staff schedules.
• Oversee medication management, including training, pharmacy coordination, supervision, and audits according to Brookdale guidelines. Conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits.
• Share on-call duties as required.
• Hold education as required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and possess a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Possess an LPN or LVN license.
