Job Function: Accounting & Finance

Description
  1. Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
  2. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their healthcare needs change.
  3. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; may assume roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
  4. Supervises community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provides ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training; manages staff schedules.
  5. Oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration; conducts periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
  6. Shares on-call duties as required.
  7. Requires education to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1-2 years of relevant experience; LPN or LVN license preferred.
