Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking Wellness Consultants to help grow and retain members through friendly interactions, orientations, and ongoing support in the Wellness Center. You will lead tours, assist with enrollment, and ensure a welcoming environment aligned with the YMCA values.

Responsibilities include opening tasks, coaching on equipment use, and coordinating with staff for program options, while maintaining records and delivering exceptional member experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Sales and service experience preferred.
• Health and wellness experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a member-focused atmosphere to build relationships with YMCA members and guests.
• Open building in the morning and complete opening shift tasks as needed.
• Greet members and assist with workout needs within certified scope.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and introduce members to one another for engagement.
• Support membership staff with Daxko processes and member data entry.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of Wellness Center equipment.
• Deliver new member orientations and track enrollment, renewals, and visits.
