Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. seeks a Life Engagement Director to plan and implement programs that deliver the ASE wellness culture, fostering a vibrant community for residents.

You will lead initiatives promoting balance in body, mind, and spirit and empower residents to pursue wellness journeys. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in recreation, fine arts, or related human services, plus relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in recreation, fine arts, or a related human services field.
NCCAP certification or completion of a state-approved Activity Coordinator course is preferred.
Dementia Engagement certification or must obtain within the first year of employment.
CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement programs and events delivering the ASE wellness culture.
Foster a vibrant and engaging community environment for residents.
Lead and support Life Engagement team operations across all levels of living.
Ensure high resident satisfaction and participation in activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in recreation, fine arts, or a related human services field
