Job summary

Bay Area Community Services (BACS) seeks a Hedco Program Supervisor to lead a team delivering consumer-centered services for homeless, forensic or aging clients, aiming to keep them out of institutional care and connected to their communities.

This role manages administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions, ensuring compliance with funders, while mentoring staff and coordinating with partners at the Hedco Wellness Center.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of experience managing teams in social services.
• Two years of experience in behavioral health or housing services.
• Experience with Coordinated Entry System (CES) and HMIS, Medi-Cal/CalAIM.
• Demonstrated capacity leading diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients where they are to deliver consumer-centered, culturally relevant services.
• Manage referrals, intakes, and discharges and ensure accessibility for all.
• Oversee revenues and expenses for the Wellness Center Program.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations; mentor interns.
• Hold direct services teams accountable to provide high‑quality services.
• Drive continuous quality improvement (CQI) and implement CQI systems.
• Ensure services comply with funders; manage grants, presentations, and reports.
• Communicate with strength-based language across program management and supervision.
• Participate in trainings for agency, professional, and personal development.
• Assess program activities and facilities for risks and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with program manager, property management, and Hedco location partners.
• Other duties as assigned.
