Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Wellness Center Ambassador to welcome patients and visitors at the Health and Wellness Center in New Jersey. You will greet guests, assist with wayfinding, and provide essential clerical support to ensure a positive, tailored experience from arrival through check-in or scheduling.

The role emphasizes independence, organization, and strong interpersonal skills. Prior front desk or hospitality experience and familiarity with Matrix reporting are preferred;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of working experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, problem-solving and service recovery skills.
• Computer skills; experience with Matrix reporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and provide routing and information.
• Assist with quick registration or scheduling when required.
• Provide clerical support to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Check in patients or visitors as needed.
• Support wayfinding and maintain a welcoming environment.
