Job summary

Oshkosh Community Young Mens Christian Assn is seeking a part-time Wellness Center Associate to supervise member safety during the closing shift on weekdays and assist with weekend coverage.

You will clean and sanitize fitness equipment, provide and schedule orientations, schedule appointments for members, and engage with members to foster a culture of philanthropy. The role requires standing most of the shift and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability on weeknights up to 9:00pm and weekends.
• CPR, AED & First Aid certification (will train if needed).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of our members in the wellness center during our closing shift on weekdays to our closing hour (9:00pm as of this time) and help with weekend shifts.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment in wellness center.
• Provide and schedule orientations and schedule appointments for members.
• Maintain at least one shift per month.
• Assist members as needed.
• Build relationships daily and create a culture of philanthropy by using names and initiating conversations with all members, staff, volunteers, and guests
• Must be able to stand or be on your feet 90% of your shifts.
• Must be able to lift 45 lbs
