Job summary

YMCA in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a part-time wellness center attendant to oversee safety, provide member assistance, and keep equipment clean during opening shifts.

You will schedule orientations and appointments for members, build relationships daily, and help foster a philanthropy-focused culture through friendly interactions.

This role requires 18+, the ability to stand most of your shift and lift up to 45 lbs, with CPR/AED/First Aid certified or willing to train.

Qualifications

• Able to stand or be on your feet for 90% of shifts.
• CPR, AED & First Aid certification required or provided.
• Availability for opening shifts.
• Assist members, build relationships and foster philanthropy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee member safety in the wellness center during opening shifts.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment in the wellness center.
• Provide and schedule orientations and appointments for members.
• Maintain at least one shift per month.
• Assist members as needed.
• Build relationships daily and create a culture of philanthropy by greeting members and initiating conversations with staff, volunteers, and guests.
