Job summary

Grotto Social Baths in Miami seeks a Housekeeper to keep the space calm, clean, and guest-ready across locker rooms, thermal areas, and communal spaces. You’ll refresh areas, manage laundry, restock amenities, and assist guests with warmth and hospitality.

Working across departments, you’ll uphold our standards of cleanliness, safety, and care, while helping guests feel welcome in a fast-paced bathhouse designed for connection and relaxation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or hospitality environments.
• Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation standards for wet areas.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs in a warm environment.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining organized spaces.
• Comfort working in a communal bathhouse setting with guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness across guest-facing areas: thermal baths, locker rooms, showers, and lounges.
• Perform perpetual cleaning during shifts to keep high-traffic areas guest-ready.
• Respond to spills or hazards promptly to protect guest safety.
• Conduct walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and care throughout the bathhouse.
• Follow sanitation protocols and health standards for thermal/wet spaces.
• Oversee laundry cycle and restock towels and amenities.
• Track inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Assist with deliveries and back-of-house storage.
• Support opening/closing and deep-cleaning tasks as required.
• Provide warewashing and kitchen support to Cafe Crew during peak periods.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with lockers, towels, and sandals.
