Job summary

Grotto Social Baths in Miami is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to orchestrate daily operations from opening to close. You will float between departments, ensure smooth guest flow, and handle staff coverage, break relief, and day-to-day issues with a calm, guest-first approach.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in hospitality with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, excellent English, and the ability to work AM/PM shifts in a fast-paced, first-of-its-kind bathhouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hospitality experience with at least 1 year in a shift leadership/supervisor role.
• Ability to open and close a hospitality venue independently.
• Experience floating across departments during service.
• Strong situational awareness and calm decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent communication with team and guests; physically able for shift work.

Responsibilities

• Open or close the building independently and manage opening/closing checklists.
• Maintain flow across departments and ensure guest experience is seamless.
• Switch between departments to support operations during busy periods.
• Address guest concerns promptly with warmth and professionalism.
• Coach team members in real-time and relay priorities to the GM as needed.
