Job summary

Bathhouse is seeking a skilled Pool Technician to maintain the health and cleanliness of our thermal pools and water systems, ensuring a safe, elevated guest experience. You will monitor water quality, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment with operations and facilities teams.

The role supports a high‑energy wellness and social space, requiring attention to detail, independent work, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with pools, spas, aquatic facilities, or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of pool chemistry, filtration systems, pumps, and heaters.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
• Experience working in hospitality, spa, hotel, or fitness environments is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive about identifying issues early.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating across departments.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily water testing and log all readings accurately.
• Balance water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.) according to established standards.
• Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, dosing systems, and related equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning of pools, drains, filters, and mechanical rooms.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues quickly; elevate repairs when needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on pool systems and associated equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Respond to operational issues or guest‑impacting concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with facilities, lifeguard/wet area teams, and management to resolve issues and plan maintenance.
