Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Well Operations Supervisor to lead drilling, completions, frac, and workover activities with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. The role includes traveling to well sites and operating on a rotational schedule, offering on-the-job mentorship and formal classroom training through the Well Operations BIT program.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated or upcoming graduation date in a Bachelor's degree program; preferred Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or similar with strong academics.
• Problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• No prior experience in oil and gas needed; on-the-job mentorship and formal training in drilling and well management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage well site operations including drilling, completions, frac and workover.
• Travel to well sites to supervise drilling/workover/completion operations.
• Operate on a rotational schedule on the drilling rig site for two to four weeks, then off for a corresponding period.
• Organize and prioritize well site activities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Analyze and communicate ongoing well-related operations and performance; contribute to performance improvements.
• Participate in the Well Operations BIT program to build competency across drilling, completions, and well management.
