Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Well Operations Intern for a domestic, onshore program based in Texas. You will shadow the Well Operations Supervisors, participate in drilling, completions, frac and workover activities, and support the Wells Organization with safety, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The role runs on a rotation: three weeks on-site followed by one week off, with potential for domestic and international travel during a career.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance expected for internship candidates.
• High analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude and leadership capabilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Wells Team to implement drilling/workover/completion well design.
• Travel to well sites to supervise operations.
• Organize and prioritize well-site activities with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Analyze and communicate ongoing well-related operations and participate in performance improvements.
