Job summary

ExxonMobil is offering a Well Operations Internship in the United States for students pursuing STEM degrees. Interns will shadow senior operators, participate in drilling and workover activities, and rotate on-site for three weeks with one week off, gaining hands-on experience in a global energy company.

Interns will work closely with the Wells Team to learn operations, safety, and performance improvements, with housing and travel support provided during on-site rotations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, Construction Management, or another STEM field.
• Strong academic performance and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Well Operations Supervisor to learn drilling, completions, frac and workover operations.
• Support safety, cost and efficiency improvements on well sites.
• Participate in rotating 3 weeks on site, 1 week off schedule.
• Engage with Wells Team to analyze operations and improve performance.
