Placements24 is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager for a vibrant hotel in Welkom, Free State. You will spearhead commercial strategies to boost occupancy, revenue, and brand awareness, while leading a small team and partnering with hotel management.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel sales/marketing, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems. You will build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and local businesses to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a proven record of success.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, market segmentation, and revenue management.
• Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and hotel management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate, group, and leisure segments.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Oversee the hotel's digital marketing efforts, including website, social media, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns and advertising initiatives.

• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and cross-promotion.

• Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
