Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Welding Trainer to lead the development and delivery of welding training for stainless and carbon steel processes. The role focuses on teaching, coaching, troubleshooting, and building strong welder capabilities on GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, FCAW, and related methods.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering to ensure welders are qualified, productive, and compliant with WPS, while promoting safety and continuous improvement on the shop

Qualifications

Experience teaching and mentoring welders.
Ability to develop training plans and evaluate progress.
Knowledge of GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, FCAW and related processes.
Experience with weld procedure specifications (WPS) and PPE.
Strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Train new and existing welders in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel welding.
Provide hands-on instruction in GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, FCAW, and other applicable welding processes.
Evaluate welder skill levels and identify training needs.
Develop and execute training plans for welders at various levels.
Demonstrate proper welding techniques and production methods.
Provide coaching and corrective feedback to improve welder performance.
Establish and maintain standardized welding practices.
