Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus three years of full-time work experience in the welding field.
• Associate's degree plus AWS NC3 or CWI/CWE certifications to teach.
• Five years of full-time work experience in welding.
• Certifications to teach applied courses or equivalent combo of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of welding courses from introductory to advanced levels.
• Prepare students for welder qualification examinations and industry certifications.
• Develop and update course materials and online components in Canvas.
• Track attendance, performance, and learning outcomes.
• Maintain welding lab equipment and safety standards.
• Advise students on academic planning and progress toward certificates and degrees.
• Participate in curriculum planning, scheduling, and department activities.
• Support recruitment, outreach, and community partnerships.
