Arizona Western College seeks a Professor of Welding to guide students from classroom to workforce through hands-on instruction, mentorship, and real-world learning experiences.

The role requires teaching 15 equated load hours per semester, developing exams, and grading with progress tracked according to program policies. The incumbent may teach on various campuses in in-person, online, hybrid, and virtual formats.

Qualifications

• Require Associate's degree, certificate, or licensure at the highest level being taught.
• Documentation of work experience must demonstrate currency and relevance to the course content and student learning outcomes.
• Three years of full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the past five years.
• Meet qualifications as outlined under institutional procedure, Faculty Credentials

Responsibilities

• Teach 15 equated load hours/semester (including material and preparation time), develop and grade exams and instruments to evaluate student learning and progress, submit grades as required by policies.
• Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Education
