Job summary

HCC, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder for 1st shift in Mendota, IL. The role involves acetylene arc and wire feed welding on a range of parts, using jigs and fixtures.

You will read blueprints, measure and inspect parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe, clean work area. Starting pay is $26.07 per hour for the 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and the ability to read blueprints and use inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use inspection equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; reading blueprints and inspection experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform down hand acetylene arc and wire feed welding on a variety of parts, using jigs and fixtures.
• Check parts for defects and ensure conformance to drawings and shop orders.
• Maintain PPE and keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
