Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
• Jig, assemble, and weld parts and components.
• Operate a wire welder; follow specifications for weld penetrations and appearance.
• Operate various hand tools and machinery (lathe, grinder, torch) to meet quality expectations.
• Grind, clean, and bevel fit-up of welds where required.
• Use and understand various paperwork (e.g., schedules, prints, technical specifications).
• Request and gather raw materials, parts, and components needed to complete tasks.
• Perform extra assignments in other areas and related tasks.
• Maintain general housekeeping and maintenance within the work area.
