Job summary

Tenneco Litchfield is seeking skilled welders to join our team. The role focuses on applying Mig and Tig welding processes, inspecting welds, and supporting the assembly of exhaust components in a fast-paced cell environment.

You will rotate across Canning, Bending, and Final Assembly cells, adhere to safety standards, and participate in BOS meetings while contributing to continuous Lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mig and Tig welding processes.
• Ability to set up welder and inspect welds.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, safety regulations.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read gauges and perform accurate inspections.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Apply welding process to meet specifications and inspect welds.
• Rotate to different cells and workstations as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Perform safety checks and light preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
• Overtime may be required.
