Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
• Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, as well as experience with plasma cutters, grinders.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and precision in welds.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate per blueprints and drawings to manufacture HVAC components.
• Interpret work orders and technical drawings to ensure precise welding and fabrication.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning before welding.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and correct as needed.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment for reliability and longevity.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabrication teams for efficient production.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding issues to improve efficiency and quality.
• Accurately use the ERP system to document work time, inventory usage, and job progress.
