Qualifications

• Ability to follow all safety procedures in the shop.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Select tools, materials and gas ratios for jobs.
• Prepare metals and surfaces for welding.
• Measure, cut and drill to project specs.
• Test weld strength after completion.
• Keep welding tools clean and functional.
• Assist with inventory and shop cleanliness.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
