Job summary

Fabcon, a leading precast concrete manufacturer with facilities across six states, is hiring for a permanent full-time welding and general construction laborer in Cincinnati, OH. You will be part of a welding crew erecting precast concrete wall panels, performing welding and related duties outdoors in all weather.

The role requires welding experience; AWS 3G/4G preferred; two+ years in construction; valid driver's license; ability to travel; and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50%+.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain membership in a local union.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor necessary to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
