Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a Welder for the Central Region to join our precast concrete crew in Ohio. The position is permanent/full time with a 7:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and involves welding and general construction labor to erect concrete panels.

Ideal candidates have welding experience, AWS 3G/4G certifications preferred, and the ability to travel as needed. The role includes union benefits and overtime opportunities, with safety and teamwork emphasized on outdoor worksites.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G welding certifications preferred.
• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor necessary to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
