Job summary

Fabcon in Grove City, OH is seeking a full-time welding/construction laborer to join our crew and erect precast concrete wall panels. The role runs 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday–Friday and requires safety-conscious teamwork on site.

Welding experience is required; AWS 3G/4G certifications are preferred. Candidates should be able to travel as needed, work outdoors in all weather, and obtain union membership where applicable.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G certifications preferred.
• Two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely work at heights, including from ladders and aerial work platforms.
• Ability to obtain membership in a local union.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50% or more of the time, and work overtime as required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Weld and perform construction labor to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding tasks safely and efficiently as part of erection crew.
• Follow directions from foreperson and crew.
• Assist with other construction and field duties as assigned.
• Use materials and tools efficiently and maintain safety compliance.
• Maintain professionalism and cooperate with crew and site personnel.
